The 2025 Swedish Elitserien women’s final is officially set. Regular season leaders Team X-Calibur BK and reigning champions Spader Dam both closed out their semifinal series in dominant fashion on Saturday in Nyköping, each winning 2–0 to secure their spots in Sunday’s championship match.

In the first semifinal, Team X-Calibur BK left no room for surprises against AIK BK D, delivering a confident 14–6 victory. X-Calibur controlled the match from start to finish, sweeping all four series by scores of 3–2, 4–1, 3–2, and 4–1. Josefin Hermansson was unstoppable for the Partille-based team, rolling a massive 984 series over four games. Maja Engberg added a strong 904 to support the win. Despite a solid 870 series from AIK BK D’s Ani Juntunen, the No. 3 seed couldn’t match the consistency and firepower of the regular season champions.

In the other semifinal, Spader Dam—missing star player Nora Johansson—continued to show their depth and experience, defeating BK Högland 10–4. Only three games were needed, as the defending champions built an insurmountable lead. After opening with a 4–1 win and dropping the second series 1–3, Spader Dam shut the door with a clean 5–0 sweep in the third game. Jenny Wegner delivered the standout moment of the match, rolling a perfect 300 game to finish with a 720 series across three games. Emma Halttunen followed with 707, while BK Högland’s top performer was Maria Fridell with 689.

With the semifinal sweeps complete, Team X-Calibur BK and Spader Dam will now meet in Sunday’s Swedish Elitserien final for the women’s championship. X-Calibur is chasing its first title since 2016, while Spader Dam will look to extend their reign with a fifth straight national title and 19th overall.

Meanwhile, the men’s finalists will be decided later today, with Game 3 matchups between Team Pergamon and BK Kaskad, as well as Team Clan Nässjö BK and Alingsås BC.
