The men’s semifinals in the 2025 Swedish Elitserien are going the distance. After both top-seeded teams fell in the opening games, Team Clan Nässjö BK and Team Pergamon came back with commanding performances in Game 2 to tie their respective series 1–1. The deciding matches will be played later this evening in Nyköping, with a spot in Sunday’s championship final on the line.

In the first semifinal, Team Clan responded in fashion after their surprise loss to Alingsås BC yesterday. When Alingsås opted to change the oil pattern from the long 46-foot profile used in Game 1 to a slightly shorter 44-foot layout, which was better suited for urethane bowling balls, it backfired. Clan immediately took control, putting on a striking clinic that left no doubt about the result. After just three series, Clan had secured an unassailable 13–2 lead and chose to stop the match early to save energy for Game 3.

Clan’s scores over the first three series—1955, 2054, and 2066—totaled a massive 6075 pins, setting them on pace to challenge the Swedish 8-man team record of 8000 if the fourth series had been played. In the third series, Alexander Tigerstrand rolled a perfect 300 game, capping off a record-setting performance. His total of 845 over three games broke the national record previously held by Jesper Svensson (836).

In the second semifinal, Team Pergamon also bounced back from their opening loss to BK Kaskad, taking a hard-fought 12–8 win in Game 2. Once again, Kaskad started strong with a 4–1 victory in the opening series and held a narrow lead for much of the second. But Pergamon turned things around, showing their experience and closing strength. Pergamon turned a deficit of more than 50 pins into a comeback win in the second series, tying the match 5–5 at the halfway point. They then pushed ahead in the final two series and held off Kaskad in the closing frames. Oliver Dahlgren led Pergamon with an impressive 897 series, while 2025 PBA Tournament of Champions winner Jesper Svensson supported with 882, while Martin Larsen added 818. The duo of Svensson and Larsen won all four of their matches.

Kaskad’s top performers were Filip Wilhelmsson (883) and Elliot Moulin (853), but the team couldn’t hold off Pergamon’s momentum. Clan and Pergamon, who faced each other in the past two Elitserien finals—with Pergamon winning both. Pergamon remains the most decorated team in Swedish bowling history with 16 national titles.

With both series now tied at 1–1, the third and decisive semifinal games will take place this afternoon at 15:40 local time. The winners will advance to Sunday’s Swedish Championship final.
