The field is narrowing at the 2025 PWBA Go Bowling Topeka Open as Singapore’s Shayna Ng leads the standings after two rounds of qualifying at West Ridge Lanes in Kansas.

Ng delivered a strong 12-game performance, totaling 2,648 and averaging just over 220 on a 42-foot oil pattern. With scoring conditions proving difficult, her consistency and accuracy helped her rise to the top as the only player above the 2,600 mark.

Close behind her is Breanna Clemmer of South Carolina with 2,575, followed by Colombia’s Rocio Restrepo (2,569), Bryanna Coté of Arizona (2,562), and England’s Verity Crawley (2,557), rounding out the top five.

Other top performers after two rounds include Lauren Russo (2,555), Lindsay Boomershine (2,530), Malaysia’s Natasha Roslan (2,504), Latvia’s Diana Zavjalova (2,503), and Jen Higgins (2,498). The cut for Saturday’s next round fell at 2,425, claimed by Malaysia’s Gillian Lim, who had previously led the pre-tournament qualifier.

Interesting to note, that this year, Ng is joined by six other bowlers from Singapore. A more flexible international competition calendar has made it easier for international players to join the PWBA Tour.

As the tournament continues, the remaining 25 bowlers will return Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Eastern for Round 3, a final six-game qualifying block. After 18 games total, the top 12 will move on to Round 4. That round will also consist of six games and determine the five players who will compete in the stepladder finals on Saturday night.
