Storm capped off a dominant season by winning the Manufacturer’s Cup at the first-ever PBA Elite League: Battle of the Brands, presented by Beatbox. The finals took place at Strobl Arena inside Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan, and saw Storm complete their season-long run as the top team in PBA Tour points, earned in singles title events across the season.
After finishing the regular season as the No. 1 seed, Storm stayed strong under pressure and swept Motiv 2–0 in the Race-to-Two championship match.
Sweden's Jesper Svensson, who won his career-second major at the PBA Tournament of Champions last week, was once again the spark for Storm. In Game 1 of the championship match, Svensson delivered three strikes in the 10th frame, claiming his team a narrow 189–186 win over Motiv.
In Game 2, Storm came out firing. François Lavoie, Kyle Troup, Chris Via, Jason Belmonte, and Jesper Svensson all opened with strikes, building an early lead that Motiv could not overcome. Storm closed out the match with a huge 275–181 win to officially take the Manufacturer’s Cup.
Before reaching the final, Motiv defeated Brunswick 213–185 in the semifinals. Brunswick had led for most of the match but struggled with back-to-back splits in the eighth and ninth frames.
In the match 1, Brunswick eliminated 900 Global, who had advanced from the prelims by defeating Hammer the day before.
