Guy Igliori Machado, the President of the Brazilian Bowling Confederation, will no longer be nominated for the President and 2nd Vice President positions of the International Bowling Federation at the forthcoming General Meeting, as announced by the Brazilian Bowling Confederation.
According to information provided to the IBF Member Federations earlier this week, Guy Igliori's decision to withdraw was based on other nominations with the necessary qualifications.
Following Guy Igliori's withdrawal, there are now two nominees for the IBF President position: the current IBF President, Sheikh Talal Mohammad Al-Sabah, and Cathy Innes, the Executive Director of the Canadian Bowling Federation.
IBF General Meeting will take place at 6th of October in Kuwait, moments before the start of World Championships, which have been opened to all IBF Member Federations for participation due to the lack of attendance from qualified countries.
