The biggest Icelandic bowling tournament RIG Bowling 2023 concluded yesterday. 75 athletes from 10 countries have competed for almost 5000€ prize pool.
Four best players reached the final tournament stage and were competing in the televised bowling match, where one athlete with the lowest score was eliminated after each game.
William Berggren of Sweden came on top, winning the RIG Bowling 2023 champion title at the Reykjavik International Games. William Berggren scored 244 against his compatriot's Alex Joki's 188 in the final game.
Pete Stevenson of England came in third, and Halvar Hagen Nielsson of Norway ended fourth.
RIG Bowling 2023 was a part of Reykjavik International Games - a multi sport event in more than 20 different sports.
