The International Bowling Federation (IBF) and the Peru Bowling Federation are set to welcome athletes from 25 nations to the 2024 Youth World Cup.
The championship, scheduled from January 19 to 26, will take place at the Videna Bowling Center in La Villa Deportiva Nacional, Lima.
This prestigious event invites aspiring young bowlers under the age of 21 from IBF member federations in good standing. Each participating nation had the privilege to register one male and one female player.
Each gender's players will start with an 18-game qualification round. Following this, the top 16 performers will progress to a 15-game Round Robin stage to determine the leading 8 players who will then advance to the finals.
25 countries will compete in this year's Youth World Cup - Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, México, Netherlands, Perú, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United States, Uruguay and Wales.
The 2024 Youth World Cup is not the sole global youth bowling event this year. The 2024 IBF Youth World Championships are scheduled to occur in Incheon, Korea, from July 7th to July 18th, 2024. The complete IBF event schedule can be found here.
