On Saturday, Pontus Andersson hinted that Sundays belong to the Purple Hammer—and his words rang true. Clan backed up that mindset with action, defeating defending champions Team Pergamon in two straight matches (11-9, 8-12) to capture the national Elitserien title. With a record-breaking performance, clutch shot-making, and unshakable belief, Clan proved that this Sunday truly was theirs.

The first match was a rollercoaster from the start. Playing on their favored 41-foot oil pattern, Clan came out swinging with a first game total of 2022 pins—setting the tone with a flawless 300 game from Emil Svensson and taking a 5–0 lead.

Pergamon pushed back in the second game, winning 1-4, but then in the third they lost 4-1. In the last game Clan only needed one more point to seal the deal. That clutch moment came on the lane pair of Kevin Lindbladh and William Berggren, who held their nerve under pressure.

Pergamon’s Martin Larsen and Oliver Dahlgren were strong throughout, scoring 1039 and 1018 respectively, but it wasn’t enough to stop Clan on their preferred conditions.

Team Clan's total pinfall of 7579 over four games in Game 1 also set a new Swedish 8-player team record.

In match 2, Pergamon struck first, winning the opening series 3–2. But Clan responded with a 4–1 second game and edged out the final two series in tight finishes, claiming a decisive 12–8 victory and securing the championship. Robin Ilhammar led Clan in match 2 with 924, while Dahlgren once again paced Pergamon with 893.

With the win, Clan captures the Swedish Elitserien title and caps off a dominant season that saw them top the regular season standings and perform at their best when it mattered most.

Over in the women’s Elitserien, Spader Dam roared back in Game 2 to keep their championship hopes alive. After leading 10–5 after three series, they swept all tables in the final game to take a convincing 15–5 win over Team X-Calibur BK.

With the series now tied 1–1, a decisive Game 3 is scheduled for 15:40 local time.
