For the first time since 2019, the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters will be hosted in Helsingborg, Sweden. It will be the only PBA Tour event of 2023 season outside the U.S., with a chance to win not only a signature Kosta Boda crystal trophy, but a PBA Tour title as well!
The Storm Lucky Larsen Masters will be one of the top professional bowling events of the year, with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for European bowlers to compete against the best in the world in the Swedish Riviera - the city of Helsingborg.
Over 300 player field, including dozens of full-time PBA Tour players such as Anthony Simonsen, Kyle Troup or Jesper Svensson, vying for another PBA Tour title will fill the Olympia Bowling venue from September 1st to September 10th in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Competitors at the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters bowl six qualifying games before the field is cut to the top 56 players. Top 26 will qualify straight to the Final Step 2, while other 30 will compete in five-game scratch in the Final Step 1 to determine the top 14 players who will advance further. In the Final Step 2, total of 40 players will bowl six-game scratch to determine the top 16, who will advance and bowl one three-game total score matches in 1/8-Finals and 1/4-Finals to determine four semi-finalists. From the semi-finals, single game matches will determine the winner of the PBA Tour title.
