Sin Li Jane Claims 2024 U.S. Women's Open Title, Zavjalova Finishes Second

After a three-year hiatus, Malaysia's Sin Li Jane's return to the PWBA has been triumphant. In a clean game with only one missed pocket, Sin won the PWBA U.S. Women's Open green jacket, eagle trophy, and the $60,000 top prize.


Sin Li Jane of Malaysia claimed her first major title at the 2024 U.S. Women's Open, defeating Latvia's Diana Zavjalova 226-214.


This victory also marks her third PWBA Tour title of the season after winning PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open and PWBA Greater Nashville Classic.


Diana Zavjalova edged out Breanna Clemmer in the semifinals, while Clemmer had previously defeated England's Verity Crawley and Stefanie Johnson. Clemmer finished third, earning $22,000. Zavjalova arned $30,000 for second place.


Sin Li Jane is now a frontrunner for the PWBA Player of the Year award as the tour heads into the Tour Championship week in Detroit, Michigan, from August 6-13.
