The PWBA Pepsi Open concluded in dramatic fashion on Saturday evening, with Jillian Martin of Stow, Ohio, claiming her third career PWBA title.

The second seed Martin defeated Jordan Richard of Tipton, Michigan, in the semifinal match 257-223, and delivered a dominant 279-162 victory over Stephanie Zavala in the championship match at Thunderbowl Lanes.

While the spotlight was on Martin's remarkable performance, several European bowlers also made their mark, securing strong finishes. Ukraine’s Dasha Kovalova finished in sixth place, Finland’s Peppi Konsteri secured the tenth spot, and Latvia’s Diana Zavjalova ended in twelfth.

Kovalova, Zavjalova and England's Verity Crawley also earned spots in the upcoming PWBA Tour Championship, where 24 season’s best bowlers will stand in a fight for the last major of the season.

Yet, the latest PWBA title winner, Martin, who claimed two titles this year by winning the USBC Queens and now the PWBA Pepsi Open, is ineligible to compete in the PWBA Tour Championship due to her non-member status in the PWBA.

PWBA Tour Championship will begin later today with three rounds of round-robin match play leading up to the stepladder finals.
