On Sunday at the Fiesta Bowling Center in Incheon, Korea, the second Girls' Team qualification squad took place for the 2024 World Youth Championships.
Sixteen top teams advanced to the match-play round after ten qualification games in the Baker format.
Team Korea scored 2095 (209.5 avg.), significantly outpacing their competitors. Malaysia finished second with a score of 2016 (201.6 avg.), followed closely by Sweden with 2014 (201.4 avg.). Singapore, with a total of 1979, and the United States, with 1962, rounded out the top five.
Alongside Team Sweden, three more teams from Europe advanced to the match-play round. Finland finished in ninth place with a total of 1890, Norway took tenth with 1878, and the Czech Republic ended in twelfth with 1858 pins.
In the Matchplay Rounds, the qualifiers will be divided into two groups of eight. They will engage in seven round-robin matches, with each win earning 3 points and a draw earning 1 point. The top two pairs from each group will advance to the semi-finals based on their accumulated points.
