Jordan Snodgrass took home her sixth Professional Women’s Bowling Association title by winning the PWBA Bowlers Journal Waterloo Open at Cadillac XBC. She defeated Correen Acuff in the final, 227–215.
It was Snodgrass’s first win since 2023. She entered the stepladder finals as the No. 2 seed, advancing to the title match after a 222–203 win over Stephanie Zavala in the semifinal.
The final stayed close through the first half, but Snodgrass pulled ahead in the late frames. Acuff needed a strike to stay in contention but couldn’t carry in the ninth and left a flat 10 in the tenth.
Snodgrass closed the match with two spares and a strike to secure the win and $20,000 top prize.
Acuff earned $10,000 for second place.
Earlier in the stepladder, Kerry Smith beat Cherie Tan 195–174, before falling to Zavala 222–191. Zavala finished third, Smith fourth, and Tan rounded out the top five.
Snodgrass now sets her sights on the U.S. Women’s Open, which begins June 10 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
