Madelen Thorsrudhagen Danielsen Wins Girls' Singles Gold at European Youth Bowling Championships 2025

The second competition day at the European Youth Bowling Championships 2025 in Samsun, Turkey delivered plenty of drama and excitement as the Girls’ Singles event took place. With high scores, close matches, and national pride on the line, four talented bowlers stepped onto the podium — and Norway’s Madelen Thorsrudhagen Danielsen came out on top.


Madelen, the No. 1 seed after the six-game qualification, stayed strong under pressure. She narrowly defeated her fellow countrywoman Emilie Marie Aas in a tense semifinal, winning 193–190. In the final, she faced Finland’s Emma Palermaa, the No. 2 seed, and delivered a clutch performance, winning 209–154 to secure the gold.


Earlier in the day, Emma Palermaa reached the final by overcoming Germany’s Fiona Lindemann in a high-scoring semifinal, 243–174.
