European Women Bowling Championships 2024 Set to Kick Off in France

The prestigious European Women Bowling Championships is set to take stage at Cristal Bowling in Wittelsheim, France, from June 5th to June 16th, 2024.


This year, 105 players from 21 countries will compete for the medals.


Cristal Bowling in Wittelsheim will serve as the venue for the European championship for the third consecutive year, following its hosting of the 2022 European Youth Championships and the 2023 European Men Championships.


The championship will feature five different events - Singles, Doubles, Trios, Teams of Five and Masters. In addition, three best bowlers will be awarded with medals in All-Event category after the qualification.


In Singles event, each player competes individually, playing 6 series in the qualifying round. The top four with the highest total pins move to the semifinals and finals, where a single game determines the winner.


In Doubles event, pairs of players compete together, with each player playing 6 series in the qualifying round. The top four pairs with the highest total pinfall move to the semifinals and finals, playing separate games to determine the winners.


In Trios, teams of three players compete, each playing 6 series in the qualifying round. The top four teams with the highest total pinfall move to the semifinals and finals, where each player bowls one game to determine the winners.


In Teams, teams of five players compete, each playing 6 series in the qualifying round. The top four teams with the highest total pinfall move to the semifinals and finals, where each player bowls one game to determine the winners.


In Masters, the top 24 players after qualification compete in a knockout format. During the final stage, matches consist of the best of three games, with players eliminated until the final match determines the champion.

  • 14:00-17:00: Trios squad 1 (series 4-6)

  • 17:45-18:45: Trios semifinals

  • 18:55-19:55: Trios finals


Thursday, June 13th

  • 10:00-14:30: Teams squad 1 (series 1-3)


Friday, June 14th
