The first edition of BowlingGP 4 Teams Youth 2025 came to a close on Sunday after a weekend full of excitement, passion, and great bowling at Plaza Bowling Reims Thillois in Thillois, France.
Following a strong start on Saturday — with team qualifications and the doubles competition (read the Saturday recap) — Sunday’s focus turned fully to individual glory and team triumphs.
All-Event Finals Deliver Big Moments
The day opened with the prestigious All-Event finals, where the top eight male and female bowlers, ranked by their combined scores from team and doubles play, battled in knockout match play.
In the Women’s All-Event, Belgium’s Chloe Berger held her nerve in a thrilling final, edging out Emma Letellier-Mazur 199–193 to capture the title. In the small final, Lena Lenglez defeated Germany’s Natalie Groll 252–216 to secure third place.
On the men’s side, the Men’s All-Event final was just as intense. Axel Forestier edged past Thomas Laymet-Carre in a tight 237–234 match to claim the championship. Adam Cotton finished third after winning a high-scoring battle against Yaari Lapid, 265–246.
Special recognition also went to Thomas Laymet-Carre and Anaïs Crouzat, who were awarded the Best Scratch All-Event Score after outstanding performances across the weekend.
Team Champions Crowned
After the All-Event excitement, attention shifted back to the lanes for the conclusion of the Teams competition.
TEAM K 1 — made up of Tom Lefebvre, Raphaël Durivault, Jordan Baron-Mouhet, and Maximilien Karczewski — dominated the bracket, finishing the tournament in style. In the final match, they defeated Les BB Skittles with a convincing 257–220 victory to lift the BowlingGP 4 Teams Youth 2025 trophy.
In the bronze medal match, TEAM K 2 overcame BSC Kings & Queens CBA Reims to secure third place on the podium.
A Weekend to Remember
BowlingGP 4 Teams Youth 2025 brought together youth bowlers from across Europe, competing across four age categories — Under 14, Under 17, Under 21, and Under 25. With open team compositions, bonus pins for younger players and female bowlers, and top-quality conditions at Plaza Bowling Reims Thillois, the tournament offered a fair and exciting platform for young athletes to compete at a high level.
It was a weekend full of strikes, splits, pressure moments, and celebrations — a true showcase of Europe's next generation of bowling stars.
The next youth event organized by BowlingGP— BowlingGP Jeune 2025 in Le Grand-Quevilly, France, on June 7–8. See you there!
