Anderson, Prather Win Roth/Holman PBA Doubles Championship

Andrew Anderson and Kris Prather clinched victory at the 2024 Roth/Holman PBA Doubles Championship, held at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan.


Despite a rocky start in the title match, the duo rallied with seven consecutive strikes to secure a 233-215 victory against Jason Belmonte and Bill O'Neill.


This victory marked Anderson's fourth career PBA Tour title and Prather's sixth, with both players sharing the $30,000 top prize.


Reflecting on their journey, Prather emphasized the years of hard work they both put in, overcoming challenges and setbacks. Anderson highlighted their mutual drive to excel, constantly pushing each other to improve.


In other matches, defending Roth/Holman PBA Doubles champions Packy Hanrahan and Mitch Hupé started strong by defeating Kyle Troup and Jesper Svensson, while Anthony Simonsen and Dominic Barrett later advanced to the semifinals with a win over last year's winners. Ultimately, O’Neill and Belmonte secured their spot in the final match, setting up the showdown with Anderson and Prather.


The PBA World Series of Bowling XV continues with televised championship rounds, featuring top players battling for titles in various categories. Fans can catch the action on FS1 over the coming days, with Cheetah Championship finals on Monday, Scorpion Championship finals on Tuesday, and Shark on Wednesday.
