The 2025 Kivelos Athens Bowling Open wrapped up on Sunday, May 18, after nearly two weeks of action at Cosmos Bowling Center in Athens, Greece. Sweden’s Felix Cederlund came out on top, closing the tournament with a 239–202 win over Israel’s Oron Cohen in the final match. Along with the title, Cederlund pocketed €2,600 from the €19,000 prize pool.
The event ran from May 7 to 18 and brought together bowlers from across Europe and beyond. After qualification, 40 players advanced to the finals. The format kept things intense, with multiple elimination rounds and knockout matches deciding who would make it to the end.
Cederlund, Cohen, Slovenia’s Rok Kostric, and Greece’s Anastasis Exarchou all made it through to the final stages. After the semifinal game, Kostric finished third and Exarchou ended in fourth, leaving Cederlund and Cohen to battle for the top spot.
In the one-game final, Cederlund was simply better, outscoring his opponent 239-202.
The Kivelos Athens Bowling Open continues to be one of the most exciting stops on the European bowling calendar. Great competition, a solid prize fund, and the atmosphere of Athens made it a memorable week for players and fans.
