32 Still In Competition After Match Play Day 1 at 2025 USBC Queens

Just 32 players remain in contention for the 2025 USBC Queens title after the first day of match play at Suncoast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Sixteen of them are still undefeated in the double-elimination bracket and will continue their run in the Winner’s Bracket on Monday.

Among the unbeaten are Bryanna Coté, Sin Li Jane, Lindsay Boomershine, Elysia Current, New Hui Fen, Cassidy Courey, Josie Barnes, Natasha Roslan, Clara Guerrero, Jade Côté, Ashly Galante, Bernice Lim, Missy Parkin, Syazwani Sahar, Hope Gramly, and Nur Hazirah Ramli.

Coté, seeded 32nd, pulled off two impressive wins — first against PWBA Hall of Famer Liz Johnson 696-659, then top seed Breanna Clemmer 726-705, scoring games of 267, 256, and 203.

Over the Elimination Bracket, another 16 players are still in the play for the 2025 USBC Queens tiara and $60,000. That's Verity Crawley, Karsyn Lukosius, Shayna Ng, Rebecca Hagerman, Alexis Runk, Danielle McEwan, Iliana Lomeli, Brystal Beyer, Jordan Snodgrass, Maranda Pattison, Taylor Bulthuis, Stephanie Casey, Valerie Bercier, Daria Pajak, Crystal Elliott, and Sara Duque.

The defending champion Jillian Martin was eliminated losing to Julia Bond and then to Nora Lyana Norkamal, so a new Queens champion will be crowned this year.

Every match in the match-play is decided by three-game total pinfall. The last two players standing in the Winner’s Bracket will battle for the top seed in the finals. Meanwhile, the remaining players in the Elimination Bracket will compete for the other three stepladder spots.

The tournament will wrap up on Tuesday night with the stepladder finals, airing live on CBS Sports Network at 7 p.m. Eastern. The winner will take home the title, the tiara, and the $60,000 top prize. Until then, all rounds leading up to the finals will be streamed live on BowlTV.
