Who said reading psychology books can't help you win championships? Kyle Troup, who was absorbed in "Mind Gym" throughout all 36 qualification games of the event, proved them wrong at the Just Bare PBA Indiana Classic.

Troup secured his second title of the 2024 season and his 12th career victory after defeating top-seeded EJ Tackett 228-213 in a thrilling championship match at David Small’s Championship Lanes in Anderson, Indiana.

Troup started his championship journey nearly perfect with a stunning 279 when facing Canada’s Zach Wilkins in the second match. Then, in the semifinal, Troup overcame Illinois Classic winner Marshall Kent, winning 227-224.

Dominic Barrett finished 8th, capturing the best result among European players. Stuart Williams finished 12th.

The PBA Tour action continues at the PBA Delaware Classic in Middletown Mid County Lanes, starting on Wednesday.
