Team Champions Crowned and Masters Fields Set at European Youth Bowling Championships 2025

The final day of qualification at the European Youth Bowling Championships 2025 in Samsun, Turkey concluded with thrilling finishes in the team events. The last All-Event standings were locked in, and the top 16 athletes in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions advanced to the Masters competition.
Girls' Team Finals: Denmark Rises to the Occasion
Team Norway led throughout the girls’ team qualification, finishing first with a total of 4611. Finland followed in second with 4553, Czech Republic third with 4499, and Denmark claimed the final spot in the semifinals with 4413.
Despite being the fourth seed, Denmark upset top-ranked Norway 791–723 in the semifinal, while Finland secured their place in the final with a 777–741 victory over the Czech Republic.
In the gold medal match, Denmark’s Laura G. Thomsen, Mayan Weber Bruun, Julie Guldbaek, and Monica Schak Nielsen delivered a strong performance to defeat Finland 736–707 and claim the title.

Boys' Team Finals: Germany Claims the Top Spot
Malta surprised many by finishing first in the boys’ team qualification with 4898, just three pins ahead of Denmark (4895). Germany followed closely with 4878, and host country Turkey advanced in fourth with 4839.
In the semifinals, Turkey rode home support to a 846–803 win over top-seeded Malta. Germany defeated Denmark 776–728 to reach the final.
In the championship match, Germany’s Marvin Voigt, Phil Baumeister, Jaden Wolff, and Shane Wanzke started strong and maintained control throughout, earning a decisive 890–740 win to claim the gold medal. Turkey, on the other hand, made history by earning their first-ever medal at the European Youth Bowling Championships, taking home the silver.
