England’s Richard Teece has been honored with the 2024 PBA Steve Nagy Sportsmanship Award.

The award is nominated by the PBA players who competed in over half of 2024 PBA Tour events.

Teece earned 25.81% of the vote. Other top vote-getters included Tommy Jones, who received 19.35%, and two-time award winner Jake Peters, who came in third with 12.90%. Additional nominees included Deo Benard, Benjy Martinez, Dick Allen, DJ Archer, Marshall Kent, and Packy Hanrahan.

This award, named after PBA Hall of Famer Steve Nagy, recognizes players for outstanding sportsmanship on the PBA Tour. It has been presented annually since 1966.

This recognition places Teece among an esteemed group of sportsmanship award winners, a list that includes recent recipients BJ Moore (2023) and Jake Peters (2021, 2022). The last European to receive the Nagy Award was Sweden's Martin Larsen in 2019.

The award will be officially presented at the PBA Hall of Fame banquet in 2025.
