After two days of intense competition in Nyköping, the finalists for the 2025 Swedish Elitserien men’s championship are confirmed. Defending champions Team Pergamon and regular season winners Team Clan Nässjö BK each won hard-fought battles in their third and deciding semifinal matches on Saturday evening, setting the stage for a high-stakes bowling battle on Sunday morning.
Team Pergamon showed their championship pedigree by overcoming an early series loss to defeat BK Kaskad 11–9. Kaskad opened the match with a 3–2 win, but Pergamon responded with two strong performances, taking the second and third games 4–1, 4–1. Although Pergamon dropped the final game 1–4, their pin advantage held firm and was enough to carry them through. Martin Larsen led the way with a 932 total over four games, while Robin Noberg added 882. For BK Kaskad, Filip Wilhelmsson (892) and Jarno Lahti (882) topped the charts in a valiant but ultimately unsuccessful effort.
In the second semifinal, Team Clan Nässjö BK barely escaped an upset against a determined Team Alingsås BC. Clan started strong with a 4–1 opening series win, but Alingsås answered back with consecutive 3–2 wins, cutting the deficit to just one point heading into the final game. With momentum swinging, Alingsås looked poised to complete the upset. But it was Team Clan who held their nerve, winning the final series 3–2 to seal an 11–9 victory and punch their ticket to the final.
Kevin Lindbladh delivered a stunning performance for Team Clan, shooting a 1007 series—including a perfect 300 game in the final match. Robin Ilhammar added 993 in a strong supporting role.
Alingsås nearly pulled off the upset behind a heroic effort from William Clasborn, who scored 1026 over four games and also rolled a perfect game in the last series.
With both semifinals ending in identical 11–9 scorelines, the stage is now set for a classic final. Team Pergamon, chasing their 17th national title, will take on Team Clan, who are looking to cap off their dominant regular season.
On the women’s side, the championship match will also feature the top two teams. Team X-Calibur BK and defending champions Spader Dam each swept their semifinal series 2–0 and will face off in a battle for the national title.
The final begins Sunday at 09:00 Swedish time in Nyköping.
