Two European bowlers, Kim Bolleby from Sweden and Christopher Sloan from Ireland, successfully secured their spots for the 2025 PBA Tour.

The event, held across various Bowlero centers in the Chicago area, saw over 90 bowlers from around the world competing for one of the 12 coveted exempt status spots. This exemption guarantees priority entry into all PBA Tour events next year and eligibility for the prestigious PBA Elite League draft.

The 2024 PBA Tour Trials began with a pre-tournament qualifier, which trimmed down the field to 90 competitors. Over the next four days, participants faced a grueling schedule, with each day consisting of two six-game rounds on newly designed PBA oil patterns ranging from 35 to 47 feet in length.

After 48 intense games, the top 12 players with the highest total pinfall secured their exempt status for the upcoming season.

Kim Bolleby finished in 6th place, amassing a total pinfall of 10,565 with an impressive average of 220.10.

Christopher Sloan, hailing from Ireland, clinched the final exempt spot by finishing 12th with a total pinfall of 10,497 and an average of 218.69.

Leading the pack were Hayden Stippich, Brandon Runk, Tim Foy Jr., Nate Purches, and Ryan Barnes, who rounded out the top 5.
