The sun was shining and the strikes were flying at the Pärnu Open 2025, where Finland’s Jussi Laine took home the title after a strong 216–196 win over fellow Finn Linus Boström in the final.
Held from June 14 to 29 in the beautiful seaside city of Pärnu, Estonia, this year’s edition delivered everything—intense matchups, summer vibes, and Baltic charm.
With a €7,100 prize pool and bowlers from across the Baltic region.
Laine, who qualified in 6th place with 1424, started his finals campaign in Round 3, where he survived a tight three-game battle against Robin Miklas. In Round 4, he swept Laurynas Narušis 2–0 to earn his spot in the semifinals.
There, he put on a dominant performance against Roni Leskinen, winning 223–161 to set up an all-Finnish final against Boström. Boström had earlier advanced by defeating Estonia’s own Kaarel Jaanimägi 195–154.
