At its meeting on January 2, 2025, the Norwegian Bowling Federation Board (FS) finalized the budget for 2025. The FS determined which international championships Norway will participate in, considering financial limitations.
Norway will compete in the following events in 2025:
EYC 2025 (Junior European Championship) in Samsun, Turkey.
EMC 2025 (Men's European Championship) in Aalborg, Denmark.
ECC 2025 (European Championship of Champions) in Vienna, Austria.
The FS decided that Norway will not take part in the WYC 2025 (World Cup U21) in Helsingborg, Sweden in June due to the tight budget and only the option to send two athletes.
According to the official FS announcement, federation aims to achieve the maximum sporting results by focusing on the championships where Norway can field strong teams.
