New Leader Claims Top Spot in Storm Lucky Larsen Masters 2024 on Day 3

On Sunday, three qualification squads of the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters 2024 were held at Olympia Bowling in Helsingborg, Sweden.


The first squad of the day was marked by the phenomenal game by Sweden's Viktor Albihn. He was on fire, scoring 1525 (254.16 avg.) to win the Squad 7 and to take the top spot in the qualification.


"Early mornings never been my real go to, but today my body was good, body was with me, mind was with me so everything just clicked," Viktor Albihn said to BowlingLife after the squad. "It was perfect morning".

In Squad 8, Lucas Fjällborg scored 1351 to win the squad, while in Squad 9, it was Arnar Jonsson who toped the squad with the 1379 total.


With 16 qualification squads remaining, Viktor Albihn holds the top spot with a score of 1525. Germany's Anton Kuptz follows in second place with 1455. Last year's qualification leader, Markus Jansson, is currently in third with 1435, while Martin Larsen and Joel Lothigius are tied for fourth with a total of 1418.

Storm Lucky Larsen Masters is the sole Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour event outside the U.S. Participants has a chance to win not only a signature Kosta Boda crystal trophy, but a PBA Tour title as well.


Over 300-player field, including dozens of bowling idols from the PBA Tour such as EJ Tackett, Kyle Troup, or Anthony Simonsen, will fill the Olympia Bowling venue from August 23rd to September 1st.
