Michael Piccari Wins 1st Torneo No Uretano in Madrid

Michael Piccari claimed victory at the inaugural Torneo No Uretano in Madrid, Spain. The tournament, held for the first time, ran from December 6th to December 15th at Ozone Bowling X-Madrid.


Piccari initially placed 9th in the qualification round with a total score of 1,339 over six games. In Final Step 1, he secured the top position by scoring 909 over four games, advancing to Final Step 2. Competing among the remaining 18 players, Piccari totaled 858, edging past Haytor Ramirez by just three pins to secure the No. 4 seed for the finals.


In the finals, the format eliminated the two lowest-scoring players after a single game. Piccari delivered the top score of 245 in this round to earn his spot in the final match. There, he faced Jaime Alfonzo, who had finished fourth in the qualification. After an intense contest, Piccari emerged victorious with a score of 223-195.


For his win, Piccari received a €1,000 prize. The tournament’s total prize fund amounted to €8,350.
