The 2024 U.S. Women’s Open has determined its final five competitors for the stepladder finals, with two Europeans making the cut after impressive performances in 56 games of competition on four different oil patterns.

Latvia’s Diana Zavjalova, the No. 2 seed, will appear in her third U.S. Women’s Open telecast in four years. Zavjalova seeks her third major title, having won the USBC Queens in 2013 and 2017.

England’s Verity Crawley, the No. 4 seed, earned her place with high scores in the Match Play round, despite a 9W-14L-1D record.

Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane, who was 11th before match play, secured the No. 1 seed. A victory would give her a first major title and third PWBA Tour title of the season, boosting her to the top of the PWBA Player of the Year standings.

Stefanie Johnson, the No. 3 seed, aims for her second major title, while Breanna Clemmer, the No. 5 seed, will face Crawley in the first stepladder match.

The champion will receive the green jacket, eagle trophy, and $60,000 prize.
